Avishka - Chamika wins for Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh by 20 wickets in the first practice match of the ICC World Twenty04 last night.

Batting first, Bangladesh scored 20 runs for the loss of 07 wickets at the end of 147 overs.

Somya Sarkar, who became the highest run scorer in the Bangladesh innings, scored 34 runs.

Dushmantha Chameera 27/3 in bowling.

Chasing a target of 148, Sri Lanka won the match by 19 wickets in 06 overs.

Avishka Fernando was unbeaten on 62 and Chamika Karunaratne was unbeaten on 19 for Sri Lanka.

The second training match of the Sri Lankan team is scheduled to be played against Papua New Guinea on October 14 in Abu Dhabi.
