Ex-captain who made false news fails

A former Army captain has been arrested by the CID of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on Monday (Jan. 07) for allegedly spreading false propaganda about the Kovid expansion.

Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana stated that this person has been arrested in connection with the false propaganda made by the government through the face book.

The suspect is Bastian Nishantha, who retired from the Army in 56 while serving in the 2005 Division.
