Special relief for public servants who are infected with Kovid and stay at home

The Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has instructed the relevant officials to formulate a system to pay compensation from the Agrahara Insurance Fund to the public servants who are receiving treatment at home due to corona infection.

The Prime Minister informed the trade union representatives about some of the irregularities in the procurement of the Railway Department.

Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa has stated that he will look into the irregularities in the Railway Department.

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa also pointed out that the government has been informed about the restrictions on spending in state institutions at a time when the country's economy has been affected by the corona epidemic.
