Kovid to 90 people in a garment factory

19 Kovid-90 infected have been identified from a garment factory in the Mahiyanganaya area.

On June 2, the Hasalaka Public Health Office conducted an antigen test on 100 garment workers and identified 18 infected people.

Subsequently, a PCR test of another 100 employees was conducted at the Medical Officer of Health's office. 38 infected persons have been identified there.

The final PCR test on June 8 was performed on 385 garment workers, of which 34 were infected.

As many as 120 families of garment factory workers have been quarantined following the identification of the infected.

The staff of the Kovid infected workers have been referred to the Intermediate Kovid Treatment Centers and the last identified infected are to be referred to the treatment centers this evening.
