One million more synoform injections to the island

Another 10 million doses of Sinoform vaccine made in China were brought to Sri Lanka this morning. It is reported that the SriLankan Airlines flight UL869 carrying the consignment arrived at the Katunayake Airport at around 5 in the morning.

This is the second stock of vaccines purchased by Sri Lanka and brought to Sri Lanka. Steps have been taken to transport the vaccine to the Central Warehousing Complex in Colombo by trucks of the Sri Lanka Pharmaceuticals Corporation with special refrigeration facilities.
