Give two-thirds first

The General Secretary of the Ceylon Teachers' Union Joseph Stalin states that he is ready to consider taking steps to eliminate two-thirds of the proposed salary anomalies from next year.

He stated this while participating in a media briefing held in Colombo today.

Meanwhile, Minister of Public Security Sarath Weerasekera stated that the law will be strictly enforced against those who obstruct teachers in starting schools.
