Unpaid vehicles cannot be taken 'at will' - here are the things to know

There are allegations that some companies are still in the process of acquiring vehicles despite the government instructing them to provide concessions on lease payments.

When you go to acquire a vehicle that has evaded payment by obtaining a lease facility, you have to lodge a complaint with the relevant police station and go with an officer to obtain the vehicle.

Or the law states that the vehicle must be obtained in accordance with a court order.

Despite such laws, the police have received complaints that some companies send their officers to the location of the vehicle and seize it by force.
